The New Bing!

June 1st 2009 | Posted by admin

On May 28th Microsoft Corporation launched a new search engine named Bing.

Till now Microsoft tried to take a market share of the searches but, eventually failed to beat Google and Yahoo. They tried all sorts of experiments on MSN (the official search engine from Microsoft before Bing) but, failed.

Finally with lots of smart and hard work, they ended up with bing.

They don’t call it a search engine, they call it as a “Decision Engine“. According to Microsoft, Bing will help people decide “Where to buy things like a camera or an Iphone”, ” How good they are” and “Customer reviews” based on the previous searches made by people.

After the failure of Microsoft’s Windows vista, Microsoft hopes to make huge profit via Bing.

Bing’s in beta stage and it’s pretty good. Though it hasn’t indexed as many pages as Google’s database, but still it has billions of pages indexed and it’s just the begining.

Here’s a quick demo of the search engnine from Microsoft.

Finally Bing’s Live.

So people go on and check out Bing yourself.

May be after few months people would say I’m a Binger!!! not a Googler.
